  9. Since the writing of ASW 2.21 a lot has happened.  Some good
  10. some bad.  As a result updates have been slow going.  I am
  11. now able to continue with this version.  The main change is
  12. I dropped the study center until I can work on the
  13. dictionaries.

  15. About 6 months before this version Thomas Nelson Publishing
  16. has renewed their copyright on Vine's Bible Dictionary
  17. therefore it is no longer supported and the program has
  18. been dropped.
  19.  
  20. If I get enough donations, I will pay the royalties to
  21. include the dictionary in future versions.

  23. In the meantime, I am developing my own web page.  I also
  24. plan to add and online Bible and a family oriented search
  25. engine.

  35. Requirements:  Should run on any PC with any monitor, but I
  36. recommend a 386 or above with a VGA monitor capable of
  37. 640X480 resolution and 256 colors.  If you have problems
  38. with the monitor, use the "/G" toggle and this will give
  39. you a choice of options for your monitor.

  41. About "A Soft Word"
  42.  
  43. This Bible program is designed around the idea that Bibles
  44. and Bible study materials should NOT be expensive.  I
  45. believe that ALL CHRISTians should be able to afford good
  46. study Bibles and study materials.  That is why this program
  47. is released as donationware.  Donations help support
  48. further developments of this program and other projects.

  50. I have shopped around and the cheapest Bible program is
  51. around $40. Printed study Bibles start around $50 - 70.
  52. Not every one has that kind of money.  I have also found
  53. many shareware Bible programs, but they were either poorly
  54. written or you had to register to get ALL materials.  I
  55. will NEVER cripple or leave out a feature in my programs
  56. except when that feature is not finished yet.

  58. With this version, I am now offering the text used for those
  59. who donate.  This is to make up for the dictionaries I have
  60. not been able to finish yet.  See OFFER.TXT for more info.

  71.      MY BIBLE PROGRAMS OR BIBLE MATERIALS INCLUDING 
  72.      ANY PRINTED BIBLE MATERIALS
  73. (7)  Start doing a CHRISTian magazine for the PC and maybe
  74.      even a printed version also release under donation
